It is 1967 and Jim Dixon , late of Eckersley, Yorks, is in London trying, with little success, to make his way in the swinging 60s. In the middle of his latest temporary job - interviewing for a market research company-he receives a letter from his neurotic ex-girlfriend inviting him to visit her at their old university. What can Margaret possibly want?
