Young Musician of the Year 1990

Tonight a pianist, a wind player, a string player and a brass player compete in the concerto final in St David 's Hall, Cardiff for the title, the prize, the trophy and a place in the 'Eurovision
Young Musician of the Year' competition in Vienna on 29 May.
The final takes place in the presence of the Patron of the competition, Her Royal
Highness The Duchess of Kent, and is hosted by the Chairman of the BBC, Marmaduke Hussey.
Sir Charles Groves conducts the National Youth
Orchestra of Great Britain, leader Ursula Gough.
