This is the second of the monthly' debates in which the microphone is placed at the disposal of the three political parties for a frank expression of their views on some topic of the day.
Tonight ' Municipal Trading ' will be discussed,' when the Labour member for the Mansfield division of Nottinghamshire, Mr. Charles Brown, better known in the House of Commons as ' Charlie' Brown, will speak first. He will be followed by the Liberal member for Middlesbrough West, Mr. Frank Kingsley Griffith, who is a barrister. Speaking for the Conservatives is Mr. Herbert G. Williams, an engineer by profession, and Hon. Secretary of the Empire Economic Union. He has represented South Croydon since 1932.
