Dublin, the 1960s: as usual, bus conductor Alfie Byrne is captivating his passengers by reciting from the works of Oscar Wilde. When beautiful Adele Rice joins the bus, Alfie realises he has the opportunity to fulfil his dream of staging Wilde's Salome, with Adele as his princess. Review page 53.
