All in the Family: Lionel moves into the Neighbourhood

on BBC One London

The top-spot award-winning new comedy series adapted by Norman Lear from the favourite BBC series Till Death Us Do Part created by Johnny Speight

Lionel and Archie are in complete agreement on one basic issue: it is ludicrous to suggest that at least 12 per cent of Archie's neighbours should be black. After all, as Lionel points out, if you follow that kind of reasoning through to its logical conclusion then 88 per cent of the Harlem Globetrotters would have to be white!
Starring Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker, Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker, Rob Reiner as Mike Stivic, Sally Struthers as Gloria Stivic, Michael Evans as Lionel Jefferson
