At Ronnie Scott's
In her second set from the famous Soho club, Regina Carter concludes this week of programmes celebrating the club's 40th anniversary. The jazz club was opened in the basement premises of 39 Gerrard Street in London's Soho on Friday 30
October 1959. It was the realisation of a dream for its two founding members
Ronnie Scott and Pete King. By 1965 the success of the club required them to find bigger premises and they moved to 47 Frith Street. Introduced by Alyn Shipton.
