Sunday Feature: Trisha Brown

on BBC Radio 3

Trisha Brown has been pushing back the boundaries of contemporary dance since the early 1960s when she made works that required the performer, in a harness, to walk down the side of a building in Manhattan. Christopher Cook went to New York in its first winter without Twin
Towers to spend time with the choreographer whose dances have grown out of the city's architecture and who lives just 20 blocks away from the scene of last year's terrorist attacks.
