The Royal Academy of Music presents a programme of 16th- and 17th-century antiphonal music associated with St Mark's, Venice. Vocal and instrumental music with cornetts, sackbutts, natural trumpets, recorders, strings and organ by visitors such as Monteverdi, Frescobaldi, Schutz and Lassus is interwoven with music by native Venetians led by the Gabrieli family, including Giovanni Gabrieli's great antiphonal Sonata in 22 Parts.
