on BBC Television

View in Radio Times

A comedy by Christopher Fry
[Starring] Pamela Brown and Alec Clunes

The play takes place in Hebble Tyson's house. He is the Mayor of the little market town of Cool Clary, and the appearance of the characters is as much as anything, 15th century.

Based on the recent production at the Globe Theatre directed by John Gielgud and Esme Percy.

(Second performance: Thursday at 8.30)
