Eisenstein's recreation of the sailors' mutiny at Odessa during the abortive 1905 Russian Revolution was voted the finest film ever made by the jury of experts at the 1958 Brussels Exhibition.
Tonight for the first time, it is being shown in this country complete with the score especially written by Edmund Meisel.
