The last programme of the series in which film-makers from different countries explore the effect of the Gulf War on their people.
Iran. For nearly a decade, Iran and Iraq fought a long and bloody land battle, which resulted in stalemate and in hundreds of thousands of deaths. Since the end of the Gulf War and the subsequent reprisals by Saddam Hussein 's Republican Guard against the Shi'ites and Kurds in Iraq, thousands of refugees have fled into neighbouring Iran.
Today, the Iranians are caring for people who, just three years ago, were considered to be the enemy. Iranian film-maker Khosrow Sinai gives a unique portrait of the life of Iraqi refugees in Iran. Producer Parminder Uir
