They sailed from their own homes to other lands, raiding, trading, and settling, and their ships, which looked like great dragons, were the terror of all who saw them. Today you will hear about some of their voyages, especially that of Leif the Lucky, who found an unknown land which he called Vineland the Good and which we call America.
