Presented by Anna Ford with Craig Charles
Two months ago, the BBC1 series Black and White revealed the amount of racial prejudice which still exists in Britain. But what about television itself? Many Afro-Caribbean and Asian viewers remain dissatisfied with the portrayal of black people on television. One of those viewers is Elaine Sihera , who argues in her own film that the black audience is not getting full value for their licence fee. Following her film, other viewers and some of the responsible broadcasters discuss that contention and how further advances in integration should be achieved. Assistant producer
