Talk by Norman Gibbs

The War in France and Flanders, 1939-40, the second volume of the official History of the Second World War, has recently been published. Norman Gibbs, Ohichele Professor of Military History at Oxford, comments on it in the perspective of the many campaigns over the same territory in which Great Britain has been involved during several centuries.
