The Little Theatre of Jean Renoir
Renoir himself, with the aid of his miniature theatre, introduces four short films, the last he made. The first is dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen and concerns a most unusual Christmas dinner. A modern opera depicts mans struggle with machines;
Jeanne Moreau sings - little faultily'When Love Dies', and the last story is a tribute to tolerance.
