Snooker: the Crucible - 21 Years in the Frame

The first of three programmes celebrating the famous Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, venue of the World Professional Snooker championship since 1977.
In tonight's programme, David Vine focuses on 1977-82, the era of John Spencer, Ray Reardon and Terry Griffiths, as well as Alex Higgins, whose emotional victory in 1982 followed an epic semi-final against Jimmy White.
