' Punch a Pom a Day ' was a joke campaign launched by a local radio station in New Zealand. However the joke seemed a little less funny 12,000 miles away in England; especially when it was learned that New Zealand's 150-year-old open-door policy to British immigrants was about to come to an end.
Tonight Europa has reaction to the anti-pom campaign from New Zealand television and looks at how immigrants from other European countries have fared down under.
