Neil MacGregor, director of the National Gallery, London, explores the different worlds created in a selection of the gallery's key paintings.
In this second programme he looks at the 16th century, and in particular at Paolo Veronese's The Family of Darius before Alexander, to show how the Renaissances masters, including Titian and Michelangelo, rediscovered classical styles and tackled the themes of love and power, sex and friendship.
