The first of six programmes showing this and next weekend which showcase dance performance and documentary from around the world.

This weekend features the work of Australian choreographer Stephen Page, artistic director of the Aboriginal contemporary company the Bangarra Dance Theatre. This opening presentation is their interpretation of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, performed together with the Australian Ballet, which fuses traditional Aboriginal dance with modern stylings and seeks to capture the spiritual essence of the four elements - earth, wind, fire and water.
The series continues tomorrow at 8pm with a profile of Stephen Page and his brothers.
