4/6. Journey to Hell. In January 1917 the famous First World War poet, Wilfred Owen , set off for France and the trenches. Less than two weeks later he and his platoon were trapped for two days in a water-filled dugout in the Heidenkopf, part of the abandoned German front line.
This film follows his nephew, Peter Owen , and a team of experts trying to locate the Heidenkopf and the dugout.
