Wilton House, Wiltshire
The last programme in the present series finds Arthur Negus at Wilton, home of the Earls of Pembroke and Montgomery, who not only stamped their mark on history but also on their treasured possessions, and incorporated their many heraldic devices into the decoration of their home.
In the 17th century Inigo Jones designed two spectacular rooms for the fourth Earl-the Single and Double Cube Rooms. These magnificent rooms delight Arthur and David Howard , expert in oriental porcelain and heraldry, who finds among the armorials both right and wrong.
