Tilson-Thomas, Previn and the LSO
In the orchestral jockeying of the front runners in town, the London
Symphony Orchestra, with its own established stables in the Barbican, seems safe, noses ahead of the London Philharmonic
Orchestra, only just made resident in the Festival Hall.
While Philharmonic is a youthful contender, Symphony has the successful Michael Tilson -
