It can cost up to £4 to inoculate a young dog or cat against every kind of fatal infection. Is it worth it? Could the vaccine be cheaper? If twelve more dog owners in every hundred had their puppies inoculated, distemper and other fatal diseases would disappear from Britain.
Many vets want dog licences to cost more and to include a compulsory injection. But do dog owners agree?
