The return to England of Their Majesties THE KING AND QUEEN from their State Visit to North America described from Southampton Docks
On May 6 Their Majesties the King and Queen left on a momentous visit to one of their Dominions at a critical time in the Empire's history. All the deeper will be the emotion of their subjects here along the South coast when the Empress of Britain is sighted today.
Their Majesties will step ashore at about 3.20 and will proceed by car the short distance to the station whence the Royal train will depart for Waterloo.
Thomas Woodrooffe will be at the Docks to describe the Royal arrival. There will be further commentaries covering the rejoicings at. Waterloo and along the route of the State drive to Buckingham Palace.
