The Late Show: Herbert Read Memorial Lecture
Last month, in his first substantial piece of writing since he was forced into hiding, Rushdie addressed the novel's duty, as the 'crucial art form', to explore the relationship between literature and blasphemy.
The lecture, recorded at the ICA, was delivered by Harold Pinter and introduced by Michael Ignatieff.
