New series 1/6. A re-enactment of the amazing journeys undertaken in 1911 by Robert Falcon Scott and Roald Amundsen to reach the South Pole. Bruce Parry leads the contemporary British team, while
Rune Gjeldnes marshals the Norwegians, with both groups using the same equipment available to the original groups. But first the teams have two weeks to acclimatise to the weather, equipment and their new sled-dogs. Continues on Wednesday at 9pm.
