Candide

on BBC Two England

The definitive concert version of Leonard Bernstein's operetta based on Voltaire's fictional hero Candide, and his quest for the "best of all possible worlds". It was recorded at London's Barbican
Hall in 1989, with the composer conducting what was, sadly, to be his final London performance.
