David Cronenberg's horror thriller, starringJames Woods. Max Renn is a closet voyeur of sex and violence. Looking for something "new", he comes across a show called Videodrome, which appears to depict actual tortures and murder. When Renn tries to find its origin, he becomes involved in a bizarre and confusing fusion of television, politics and mind control that seems to herald a "New Order" for society. Widescreen.
