The last concert in the preliminary round of the competition brings the cream of young opera and lieder performers from all over the world to St David's Hall in the Welsh capital. Tonight's performers are Spain's Carlos Bergasa (baritone), Belgium's Werner Van Mechelen (bass-baritone), Japan's Yasuhiko Idane (tenor),
Russia's Larisa Rudakova (soprano) and Sweden's Katarina Karneus (mezzo-soprano). Presenters Natalie Wheen and Iain Burnside talk to the experts and the five singers competing fora place in Sunday's final.
