Badgering the Diggers

on BBC Two England

The badger is one of Britain's best-loved animals. But it is now extinct in some areas because of badger diggers. This film, which follows the efforts of police and wildlife enthusiasts to end this cruel and illegal practice, was voted best regional documentary in the 1993 British Environment and Media Awards.
