A Franciscan Missionary of Mary
Today's missionary talk will be given by one of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, an organisation of missionary nuns whose work takes them all over the world, Their organisation is responsible for eleven leper institutions in Burma, Ceylon, China, Japan, Annam, and the Congo, and it has 168 dispensaries in various lands. There are some ^ seven thousand of these Roman Catholic Sisters taking part in this work. The speaker will deal not only with the leper work in Burma with which she has been particularly associated, but with child welfare activities in the Congo, nursing in Ceylon, relief work in the war zone in China, and other forms of service.
