There's nothing more natural than giving birth, but the manner in which
Katy Gribble was delivered was rather unusual. She was born at home, in front of the living room fire, underwater, in a birthing tub. Of course, Mum was in the tub, but so was Dad; he had the important job of rubbing Mum's back. Dr Lichy kept an eye on the proceedings. He's performed over 40 underwater deliveries around the Penzance area of Cornwall. On a cold night in January, he brought his tub to the Gribble household ...
