Ivo Pogorelich
As a boy in Belgrade, pianist
Ivo Pogorelich was talent-spotted by a visiting Russian professor. At the age of 11, he left home for the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow and the opportunity of a lifetime - an intensive musical education in Soviet Russia.
Today, Pogorelich talks to
Joan Bakewell about his early years in Yugoslavia and Moscow.
