Gardeners' World 8.30pm BBC2
Alan Titchmarsh lays down the decking in his redesigned Hampshire garden in the second programme of the series. However, he does have time for a jaunt to the South of France and a leisurely investigation of mail-order cuttings and a new persistent insecticide in some commercial composts.
Meanwhile, his fellow presenters Stephen Lacey and Gay Search visit a seaside plot in Glamorgan and a rooftop in north London where a stylish array of containers has been used to create a two-tier garden that features the whole of the capital as a backdrop.
