When Lady Randall withdraws financial support for their show, big-hearted Arthur and 'Stinker' Murdoch decide to infiltrate her stately home. With Arthur in drag as the cook and Stinker as footman, the house is soon a shambles. But all ends happily in this good-natured film which is a classic example of British comedy.
