Golf: the Masters

on BBC Two England

Tension builds in the race to become the 2004 Masters champion, claim the Green Jacket, and with it $1 million in prize money, on the final day's play at Augusta National.
Last year's surprise winner. Canadian Mike Weir. returns to defend his title as he seeks to become the 16th multiple winner of the competition. His dramatic play-off victory over Len Mattiace at the first extra hole meant he became the first ever Canadian to win a Major title, and the first left-handed player to win a Major since
Bob Charles 's Open win in 1963. Former champions such as Nick Faldo , Jose Maria Olazabal , Bernhard Langer, Sandy Lyle, Tiger Woods and Ian Woosnam will be among the other competitors hoping to beat him to the prize. But keep an eye on young Australian Adam Scott - some described him as the next Tiger Woods after the 23-year-old clinched the Players Championship title in Florida last month - will he be able to take his first Major title this year?
Presented by Steve Rider. Commentary by Peter Alliss, Ken Brown and Wayne Grady. [web address removed]
