Bomber skipper Pat Ransom has two hours to kill before leaving for the Pacific. Deserted by his socialite fiancee, he wanders into a nightclub and meets beautiful blonde singer Louise. Assuming they are sweethearts, his crew paint her on their bomber as a mascot. Their good luck in the air makes both Pat and Louise favourites in the newspapers at home. But when they are brought together by their well-meaning friends and romance starts to blossom, the socialite returns to claim her hero.
