Gordon Wilkins covers the London Motor Show
Haven't we met somewhere before? Most of the new cars at Earls Court this year have a familiar look. There are styling and engine changes in the British Leyland, Rootes, and Vauxhall range, but the only new car is the XJ Jaguar.
How does this face-lift for old favourites affect the customer? Will it keep up second-hand car prices, or speed up service and spares? Will the mergers in the motor industry result in even fewer new cars in future shows?
