Tension builds in the race to become the 2005 Masters champion and claim the attendant Green Jacket and$1 million in prize money on the final day's play at the Augusta National course in Georgia, USA.

Ernie Els to win his first Major. The eventual winner had birdied five of the final seven holes - including the demanding 18th - for a three-under-par 69. His nine-under 279 total was one better than Els, who had two eagles and shot a commendable 67.
