Wheelbase: The World Cup Rally London to Lisbon

on BBC Two England

Covers the World Cup Rally London to Lisbon.
The survivors of the European stage of the Daily Mirror World Cup Rally were due to reach Lisbon last Saturday to board a ship for South America.
Prince Michael of Kent and footballer Jimmy Greaves were among the British drivers fighting French and Soviet opposition for the lead on flat-out speed tests in the mountains of France, Italy and Yugoslavia. This is the story of what happened to them, and to rally stars Roger Clark, Andrew Cowan and Paddy Hopkirk over the first 5,000 miles.
