Earlier this year, the discovery of an ancient fossilised skull called "Rat-faced Man" rocked the world of anthropology. Previously, many believed that humans had evolved from a unique line of elite ape-like creatures, but the new find casts doubt on the theory and suggests that there were probably many similar species from which humans could have descended.
