The proceedings will begin with a Descriptive Announcement, followed by an Address by the Rev. Doctor JAMES GREY (doyen, Presbyterian Church in Africa)
The Unveiling Ceremony will then be performed by the Hon. H. U. MOFFATT (nephew of Livingstone and Ex-Prime

In 1855 David Livingstone , one of the greatest pioneer missionaries and explorers of all times, discovered the Victoria Falls of the Zambesi, from which today's unveiling ceremony is to be relayed to listeners in Britain.
This heroic Scot, who at the age of ten went to work as a ' piecer ' in a cottonfactory and spent his first earnings on a Latin text book, changed the map of Africa. With infrequent intervals he explored the dark Continent for thirty years. He married out there, brought up his family, lost his wife, and, like her, gave his life to open up the country for others. The ordeals he suffered are as epic as they must have been terrible.
