M*A*S*H: The Moose

on BBC Two England

Starring Alan Alda as Hawkeye, Wayne Rogers as Trapper John

When is a Moose not a Moose? When it's a young slavegirl, that's when. Hawkeye and Trapper are horrified when Radar explains that the Korean girl carrying Sgt Baker's gear around for him is his 'moose,' a corruption of the Japanese word for girl. As she is only 17 and very pretty our two knights in rusty armour decide to rescue her from the clutches of evil. At least that's how they see it!
