Michael Moore's TV Nation

on BBC Two England

When it was announced that this series would be broadcast on BBCtv,
Michael Moore said he hoped it would lead to " a lot of free plane tickets to Commonwealth countries and a chance to meet the Queen and pound back a few brewskies."
Perhaps he's still dreaming, but he and his team have certainly done a lot of travelling over the past six weeks. From Kuwait to Texas and from Hot Springs to Foleshill, the series has explained and exposed stories of global interest in an off beat and often ironic way.
In this the last programme of the series he investigates caningand the British fascination with it. Among those he talks to are headmasters, and politicians who'd like to beat some sense into British youth. Executive producer Jeremy Gibson
