Towards the end of 2002, allegations arose that businessman Peter Foster - then facing an extradition case - had been involved in financial dealings with Cherie Blair, a friend of Foster's lover Carole Caplin. This intimate portrait of the relationship between Caplin and Foster asks whether Foster's feelings for Caplin were genuine or whether she was cynically targeted by a conman keen to get close to those in power.
