This great church stands on a hill overlooking Walsall, a town of 120,000 people, often described as having a hundred different trades. Here Sunday by Sunday well over a thousand people of every age come to worship. It is a family church laying great emphasis on the training of children. Under its shadows are the three Blue Coat Church of England Schools, providing an education for a thousand children from the age of five to sixteen.
