A series of ten documentary films set in one of Britain's top boarding schools for boys.
There are only two ways of meeting Radley College's school fees. You either pay for it all yourself, or you get someone else to pay it for you. For if boy is exceptionally gifted, the College will give him a scholarship, worth full fees, or a part thereof. Accordingly, parents who cannot afford £3,000 per annum attend to their sons brains, voices and personalities before sending them off on the Public School circuit, finely honed to catch the eye of academic and music staffs alike.
In this film, the Precentor of Radley Anthony Dowlen, trawls for talent in a shoal of prep-school boys, who are competing for music scholarships worth £20,000.
