On a sunny Saturday in June, over 25,000 people in carnival mood, crowded into Crystal Palace Football ground to hear the world's top reggae bands. BBC2's Ebony was there to record the best of the day-long concert and catch the atmosphere of this unique musical event.
The impressive line-up of artists includes:
Gregory Isaacs - 'the cool ruler' - one of the superstars of reggae.
Third World - recently a British chart success with 'Now that we've found love'.
Sugar Minott - the sweetest voice in reggae.
Arrow - high energy 'soca' music, mixing soul and calypso rhythms.
Sly and Robbie - two top session musicians with a long list of credits from Joan Armatrading to Mick Jagger.
Maxi Priest - one of Britain's top bands.
Smiley Culture - British newcomer and winner of many of this year's British reggae awards.
