Frontiers: The Shape of Things to Come

One of the most ambitious space projects ever conceived looks set to reveal the universe's greatest secrets. The MAP probe, due for launch later this year, is expected to be able to detect the dim afterglow of the fireball from which the universe was born billions of years ago.
