Hong Kong: the Last Governor

Live from Hong Kong, the arrival and swearing-in of the new Governor of the colony, Chris Patten. He is the last
British Governor before the hand-over to China in 1997 and his task is to ensure a smooth and calm transition of power and to reassure a population fearful of what the future holds.
Nicholas Witchell and Brian Barron are in Hong Kong to report on the ceremony and to assess the prospects for the next critical five years.
